THE CONFEDERATION BRIDGE

DID YOU KNOW THAT:

The Confederation Bridge, which joins Borden-Carleton, Prince Edward Island and
Cape Tormentine, New Brunswick, is the longest bridge over ice-covered waters
in the world at 12.9 kilometres.

Opened on May 31, 1997, this historic bridge brought a new age
of transportation to Atlantic Canada, with two lanes of traffic, moving
80 kilometres per hour, 24 hours a day. A trip across the bridge, takes
less than ten minutes.

Take this bridge over to our beautiful Prince Edward Island
